For the past two years, Card Cutters have worked with the team at Worksop Golf Club providing them with great value Merchant Services.

What is the name of your business, and what do you do?

Established back in 1914, Worksop Golf Club is a member-owned golf club and the proud home of Pro Golfers Lee Westwood and Mark Foster.

We pride ourselves on our well-draining sandy soil suitable for all year round golfing and attract many visitors from across the country, as well as being home to a successful onsite restaurant for use by both members and visitors as well as hosting special occasions.

Are you a new Card Cutters Merchant?

We have held Merchant Services with Card Cutters for two years now, and have another two years left on our current Card Machine contract.

Which of our products and services do you use?

We currently hire an Ingenico Countertop Card Machine which is used in our pro shop and we have a second Mobile Ingenico Card Machine within our Bar and Restaurant Area.

What do you like about working with Card Cutters?

Since we have been using Card Cutters and Card Machines at the Worksop Golf Club we have seen sales payments on debit and credit cards increase by over 100%. By having Card Machines available and the latest in payment technology our members now pay for their membership using their cards.

Is there anything you feel Card Cutters could improve on in the future?

To be honest, we have had very few problems with Card Cutters or the Ingenico Card Machines that we currently hire. The new Card Terminals are really reliable, and any small issues we have experienced have been resolved efficiently through the Card Cutters Helpdesk based in the UK.

How has Card Cutters helped your business?

Being a busy Golf Club we needed both reliable and fast connecting Card Machines, even more so during our events and social functions where our on-site personnel can be under pressure to undertake quick sales transactions with members and visitors alike.

We are also happy that each month we receive a detailed Invoice from Allied Irish Bank who manage the Merchant Account for Card Cutters that allows us to keep an eye on our card transactions.

In your own words, how would you recommend Card Cutters to another business?

Always do your homework before choosing a new Merchant Service Provider. We obtained different quotes to be able to compare. In the end, Card Cutters had the clearest pricing structure. We also factored in the Trustpilot Reviews Card Cutters had received to ensure they were the type of supplier we wanted to do business with.
