The Terms and Conditions issued by Card Cutters are applicable for all orders placed on our website. Terms and Conditions for all orders placed over the telephone can be requested by getting in touch with us.

Our Contract

We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods you order before your order can be dispatched and accepted. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us.


The prices payable for goods you order is as set out on our website (E&OE). If due to economic conditions, there is a price change on any item on your order, we will phone to advise prior to the order being despatched.

Delivery Schedule

Orders received before 2 pm (GMT) will normally be dispatched the same day subject to stock availability. If we have insufficient stocks we will contact you either by phone or by email to offer you alternatives (if applicable) or arrange to send your order incomplete with the out of stock items to follow when in stock.

Please be aware that this 1st class post and Recorded delivery is not guaranteed or insured. Please also be aware that in the unlikely event your item gets lost in the post we are unable to start a claim or resend/refund until after 15 days.

Back Orders

If your order or part of an order is not in stock, we will backorder it for you. You will always be informed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Credit Card Security

We use our own payment gateway powered by Cardstream for all our credit card Transactions. All transaction information passed between Card Cutters and Cardstream’s systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to our servers from Cardstream are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely assured that nothing you pass to Cardstream’s servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.


All products are supplied with a 12-month manufacturer’s guarantee unless otherwise specified. If you have a problem with your product, please call or e-mail us at customerservice@card-cutters.co.uk for UK queries or customerservice@card-cutters.ie for Irish queries.

All goods and services are supplied in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (SI 2000). If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you have the right to cancel your order by notifying us in writing or via e-mail within 7 working days from the date of delivery. It is then your responsibility to return any such goods in the condition in which they were supplied to you by us. Any cancelled or returned orders will be subject to a cancellation/restocking fee of 5% of the total value of the returned goods. This is to cover the administration costs and credit card charges incurred. This amount will be deducted from the final value of the refund. The consumer is also responsible for the cost of returning any goods to us. Goods received back incomplete, damaged or in any condition other than saleable as new, will be returned at the consumer’s cost. Please ensure that the item to be returned is sent via a recorded service and inadequate protective packaging. Card Cutters will not be responsible for any items lost or damaged in transit from the consumer to us. If any delivery is refused, an additional £5 “Return to Sender” charge will be applied to any refund due.

Privacy Policy

Card Cutters do not disclose buyers information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.


All orders are carefully packed in our separate Mail Order dispatch department. However, if you have reason to believe that damage may have occurred in transit we must be notified as soon as possible after the damage is discovered. If telephoning, please ask for dispatch – this will expedite any inquiry re your order. If the damage is obvious on receipt of the package please mark the carriers docket as damaged and try to retain the packing material as on occasion the carriers will wish to see this. Returns Policy – Returned Items falling within the Warranty Period

If a product is delivered faulty or a fault occurs within the first 14 days from the delivered date (and the fault is covered under the manufacturer’s guarantee) then we will collect the item and have it returned to us, where we will inspect and if found faulty, return the item to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. If a fault occurs after the first 14 day period from delivery, then it is the consumer’s responsibility to return the item to us, where we will inspect and if found faulty return the item to the manufacturer for repair. Once repaired, the item will be returned to the consumer at no extra cost.

All returned goods must be returned inadequate packaging. Card Cutters will not be responsible for any damage that is incurred to goods that are not packaged in the original packaging that the goods were shipped in. If you do not have the original packaging, you will need to obtain some from other sources and ensure that the returning goods are protected against the rigours of courier transit. Please also send the package via a recorded delivery so that a signature is required on delivery.

If the returned item is found to be not faulty and the error is down to incorrect usage or operator error, the customer will be liable for the carriage costs of the goods back to us and also for returning the product back to the customer. Any engineer/inspection fees may also be charged. This must be paid before the goods are returned to the customer.

Please ensure that all goods returned have a copy of the original delivery note/proof of purchase and stating the full reasons for return. Failure to do this may slow down any repair or refund.

If you have simply changed your mind:

If you have received an item which you have decided you do not actually wish to keep for whatever reason, then you must inform us within 7 working days, in writing. The Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) allows you to return the product but it must be in the original packaging and also, in the condition in which you received it when we receive the item back, in other words, in brand new condition and not showing signs of any kind of usage. The goods to be returned must be done so at your own expense.


We shall refund you, within 30 days (less any costs), the price you paid for any goods returned, PROVIDED THAT the goods are returned by you/collected by us at your own cost and received by us in as a new & unused condition.

If we happen to send you the wrong item by mistake, we do apologise for this. If this is the case for you then please contact us to let us know what has happened and return the item as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we cannot dispatch replacements to you without the incorrectly sent item being returned to us. This is to protect ourselves and our customers from price increases.
We cannot accept any responsibility for items being returned to us that are lost in the post. It is your responsibility to see that returned goods reach us and in the condition, they were sent to you. Do not use express services or we will be unable to refund you the full cost paid. If the item exceeds the level of compensation offered by standard recorded delivery we will refund you if you choose to use a special delivery service.
